Spectator No-Go Zones

30 Aug 2019 by Kerrod Hall

Our returning parents are awesome and already know this, but if you’re new (or just need a reminder), please note the following important information about where you CAN and CAN’T sit when watching our junior touch football games.

For the safety and enjoyment of our players, coaches, and referees, it is a requirement that there are NO SPECTATORS within FIVE (5) METRES of the edge of any field in use. If there is 5m or less between fields, these areas will be off-limits.

THIS INCLUDES WALKING THROUGH WHILE GAMES ARE ON!

For clarification, only Coaches, Managers, Referees, Delegates/Officials, and Players are allowed in the substitution areas.

Coaches, referees, or our officials will ask you to move on, and it might mean that the game is stopped until you do.

To make it easy for you, we have created these field maps to show you what areas are off limits to spectators while games are on.

The areas shown in RED are “no go zones” for spectators; that means you CAN’T SIT, STAND, OR WALK through these areas while games are in progress. If you need to move to another field, please ensure you walk around these areas (yes, a little exercise is always good!).

If you aren’t sure if you can sit in a particular area, please feel free to ask one of our club delegates who will be roaming around Queens Park wearing bright orange vests to help you identify them.
